DOTS AND DASHES - A REVIEW OF A ROAD TRIP

Ever found yourself spaced out driving to a random place? You are driving in a suspend animation where it seems muscle memory has assumed control? Well when traveling across country, you might find yourself doing it as well.

Especially when we are talking about Canada. Driving from Petawawa, Ontario to Charlotte Town, PEI, which consisted in a total of two days and 1600 km. Yeah, your mind might wander.

This vacation trip had a rough start. 3 girls, the girlfriend and I were cruising in the mini van, when one of the worse things about a summer trip could happen.

"We need to turn around!"

With the girlfriend having us turning around less than an hour into our trip. Hey, well when realizing that her bank account had a huge error where an extra zero on a transaction created a significant withdrawal of money.

This took about an hour to sort out as the store needed a manager to come in. They were supportive about the situation and were apologetic giving her a Tim Horton's gift card.

So, after the finger flub mishap being corrected, we were off our way. The girlfriend felt bad about the situation, but things in life happen for a reason. For me it was to test my patience and I think I passed.

On our way, we do many pee breaks and coffee runs (I know mind of counter productive.)

"DASH AFTER DASH
REFLECTING I AM.

SITTING HERE WATCHING
AS THEY ACCUMULATE IN MY HEAD.

INTO NUMBER I CAN'T REMEMBER
I WANT PERFECTION.

OUR NEXT ADVENTURE
A LOVE SONG.

A SONG I LOVE
TO SING WITH YOU.

FUNNY THOUGH
IT WILL BE FAULTED.

BUT CAREFREE
WITH US.

NOT TAKING LIFE
TOO SERIOUS AS TOLD.

SO, HOLD; AND
LET'S GO."

Sixteen hours of driving we managed to reach Brackley Beach. A small town situated centrally on the island. Thank goodness for vacations.
